BACHELOR OF BANKING AND INSURANCE ( B. B & I )

This degree courses started in 2007- 08. With the rapid Banking and Insurance Developments in recent times, the course has been especially designed to create middle cadre banking personals.
It is a three-year degree course, with six semesters, managed by a full-time and visiting faculty drawn from the Industrial and Service sectors.
The College is committed to providing in-depth training using the latest equipment in computers, practical experience, industrial visits and summer placements, wherever possible.

OPPORTUNITIES

Over the last few years, due to stress on inclusive growth in the various sectors, Banking and Insurance have shown promising results in terms of business potential. After the completion of B.B.I. course, the students can acquire necessary competence to handle any job up to the supervisory level, related to Banking and Insurance. This course would give them the foundation to successfully complete the Masters Course in areas of Banking, Life and General Insurance. This specialization should be treated as an intermediate step in the pursuit of post graduate qualifications like C-RIM (Risk and Insurance Management), Insurance management and Health Insurance Management.
