In the loving memory of Late. Prof Javed Khan, Oriental Education Society's Sanpada College of Commerce and Technology celebrated Founder's Day. The reason behind celebrating this day as Founder's Day is that this day is also the birthday of our Founder, late Prof. Javed Khan.
The cultural committee of Sanpada College of Commerce and Technology made sure that this was a grand occasion. All the student volunteers of the cultural committee had taken huge efforts to make it a successful one. The event begun in the morning by welcoming the Management, Dr. Azeem Javed Khan, Treasurer & Dr. Haider E Karar, CEO, along with all the dignitaries.
The cultural team was looking after all the technical and creative aspects. There was a projector screen which was showing a movie based on the life story of our late Prof. Javed Khan. Along with which there was a greeting card competition that took place and was looked after by the cultural committee. Here, students from every class had to prepare a greeting card and the best ones were displaced in the ground floor lobby so that everyone could watch it. Apart from that, the most highlighting part of the entire Founder's Day event was the "Facts Gallery." This was a very creative & an innovative initiative taken by the cultural committee. This particular "Facts Gallery" had all the facts, achievements, past experience, etc. related to our late Prof Javed Khan. Basically, it was like a guide towards the journey of our Late Founder.
Overall, it was a great event conducted by the entire team of OES. Other Colleges had done their part and bit of contribution as well. For eg. The B.ed , Law and Pharmacy Department looked after the lobby decorations and Seminar hall. All the dignitaries spoke about our founder and remembered him on the occasion of this Founder’s Day. The ambience created was very great and positive where everybody could feel his presence around. The students did great and as always, kept their best foot forward. Thus, it proved that teamwork plays a very crucial role in order to make any particular event successful.

The event started at 10.00 am in the college lobby so that the mob could attract the attention of the crowd. The skit was based on the topic “Women Identity.”The script was the skit was written by Mr. Bhavesh of FYBAMMC and directed by Mr. Abdul Quadir of SYBAMMC. The entire event was smoothy organised by the students incharge of WDC.
The actors mirrored the actual problem of women and girl child in the society. Women's position in indigenous societies has not always been ideal; there is no reason to attempt to paint is so. Contact by and incorporation into larger economic and political system, could improve some women's status, but this is not usually the case. When indigenous societies join larger systems, this leads to a further masculinization of politics, and integrating these groups into other legal traditions often erodes women's traditional rights to land and resources. Furthermore, women in partially assimilated societies rarely control funds - even those generated by their own efforts.
Twenty-five Students participated in the flash mob and was able to attract the entire crowd with their power packed performance.
